The Glow Up is a niche salon, specializing in hand-tied extension and color services only.
Color services and haircuts are available in addition to extensions, not as standalone services.
The Method
At The Glow Up, I specialize in Bellami's hand-tied weft and invisible bead installation, both designed to prioritize scalp health, comfort, and an undetectable finish.

While I initially trained in Natural Beaded Rows (NBR), I quickly transitioned to Bellami's techniques for their advanced approach to scalp safety. These methods are specifically designed to minimize tension and eliminate the risk of traction alopecia--an issue commonly reported among NBR stylists when not applied with extreme precision.

Bellami's invisible bead technique takes undetectability a step further by fully concealing the beads, making it an ideal choice for those with finer hair and less density.​​

Installations start at $1600 and vary based on the number of rows installed, length, thickness, texture, and color.
​
The install includes everything from the purchase of your hair, to coloring both your natural hair and the extension hair, strategic placement of the wefts on the rows, sewing in the extensions to the bead track, cutting to blend, and styling at the end.​

Maintenance

Maintenance / tightening appointments should be scheduled approx. every 6-12 weeks, depending on your personal needs.

Complimentary haircuts and trims for your natural hair are included with extension services to maintain its integrity.

*Special pricing applies for multi-row tightenings when combined with color services. Blow-dry and styling are included with all color services, except for very curly textures, which require an additional fee due to the extra time and effort needed to smooth the hair before styling.
